INTRODUCTION

Sporkit Inc. is a Canadian Food Delivery business that allows customers to discover and engage with restaurants near them to have meals of their choice delivered to them with ease.

We take data security and privacy very seriously. We are determined in maintaining transparency in the collection, disclosure and use of your information (Personal, Sensitive or other) as provided by the user. This Privacy Policy describes how we may use such information for provision of services in respect to the App and its purpose and the circumstances under which we may share such information with a third party (for purpose of this policy, “third party”, “third-parties” or “third-party” shall be construed as any such entity that is not Sporkit Inc. or Sporkit Inc.’s owned or associated businesses, firms or entities). This Privacy Policy applies to practices of the Company on the Sporkit App, or any other associated applications, platforms or websites (each "Platform") but does not include personal information relating to employees under the scope.

WE DO NOT COLLECT OR USE BACKGROUND INFORMATION.

PERSONAL AND SENSITIVE INFORMATION

In lieu of proper functioning of the job and the app, and its features, we collect, store, disclose and use information as is necessary for such purposes.

Collection of the information includes of riders’:

  1. Name.

  2. Contact information.

  3. Identification and authentication information.

  4. Records and documentation relating to eligibility.

  5. Financial and Payment Information.

  6. Location.

Such information is classified as Personal and Sensitive information.

This information is used for:

  1. Name, Contact Information, Identity Authentication Information, Documents Relating to Eligibility and Financial and Payment Information for “Creation of your Account as a Rider”: Where you create an Account on Sporkit app, we use the information above for entertaining such creation and commencement of the Account. THIS INFORMATION IS NOT DISCLOSED publicly or to other users of the Platform.
    Only your Username is disclosed, to the users that you are required to engage with in course of your job and use of the Platform.

  2. “Contact information” for official communications from Sporkit Inc: contact information as provided by you is used by the Platform so that official communications from the Sporkit Inc. can be made possible. These communications, dependent upon the nature of the case, can be in mode of SMS, call or email.

  3. “Identification and authentication information” ensuring genuineness and verification of identity is used by the Platform to ensure the limitation of impersonation.

  4. “Records and documentation relating to eligibility” ensuring validity, proving and verification of documentation relating to work eligibility (such as Drivers’ License and insurance) are used to make sure that the Rider is eligible to operate a Vehicle legally.

  5. “Financial and Payment Information” is used for transactions in favor of Riders in lieu of the services rendered, and to keep track and maintain record of payments. The record of payments helps us maintain your accounts.

  6. “Location” information is used to enable the customers of the Sporkit Inc. to track their orders.

This information is NOT SHARED with any such third party that does not relate to or play necessary part in functionality of the job or serving purposes as above mentioned.

Third Parties that may have access to such information or be tendered such information includes Banks associated with the business, competent Legal Authority that may cater upon request to verify authenticity of documentation and identification, and such employees of Sporkit Inc. that work at the Company in such departments or at such position which deal with entertaining the concerned work related to such Riders.

We take great measures to secure the Personal and Sensitive information, and do not make such information available to anyone unduly.

WHAT OTHERS CAN SEE

Other users cannot access, collect, use or otherwise utilize any information relating to you, EXCEPT:

  1. “Username”: This is the publicly displayed name that you choose to be set up as to be displayed on Sporkit. This username is provided and chosen by you and is displayed as is.

  2. “Location”: Your location is shared with the users as to track the progress of the delivery.

DATA SECURITY

Sporkit Inc. uses highly secure servers to ensure data safety of the users. These servers keep all the sensitive and personal information encrypted as to limit the data reading and breach of any kind.

DATA RETENTION AND DELETION POLICY

Sporkit Inc. does not retain any unnecessary information.

The information we retain, reasons for such retention, and time of deletion of such information is as follows:

  1. Financial and Payment Information
    We retain this information to satisfy the periodic or recurring payments due to be paid to the Rider by us upon execution of services. Furthermore, this information is retained to balance and maintain accounts and payment reports. This information is retained till maintenance of accounts of the Platform.

  2. Contact Information
    Contact information is stored to cater communications with you. Where contact details are changed, old details are deleted.

  3. Eligibility and Identification documents
    These documents are retained till you are in service under Sporkit as a user. Once you choose to terminate the services, we do not hold onto these, except for identification information so that records can be maintained as per legal requirements.

  4. Ride History
    Ride and travelling history are developed over time as you render number of services. These histories are retained till you are in service with Sporkit Inc. to help in cases of any claims relating to such rides.
